Osborne Industries, Inc., is a 100% Employee-Owned company founded in 1973 by a group of city leaders with the vision to preserve a small rural community by providing employment opportunities in north central Kansas. This group of businessmen organized a small manufacturing company called Osborne Industries, Inc.
The first manufacturing facility was housed in the 4-H building at the county fairgrounds and involved the hand processing of one product, the Stanfield heat pad. By 1976, Osborne Industries developed a closed molding process, later known as Resin Transfer Molding (RTM), and launched the development of a new low-cost method of Reaction Injection Molding (RIM) in 1993. Our diversity of products ranges from OEM industrial components across multiple industries to a full line of proprietary swine management equipment.
