About Us

Osborne ProductsOsborne Industries, Inc., is a 100% employee owned company founded more than 50 years ago by a group of city leaders with the vision to preserve a small, rural community by providing employment opportunities. This group of business professionals organized a small manufacturing company in 1973 and called it Osborne Industries, Inc.

The first Osborne Industries manufacturing facility was housed in a 4-H building at the Osborne County Fairgrounds and involved the hand processing of a single product: the Stanfield heat mat. In the early years, the manufacture of the heat mat was accomplished with the labor-intensive hand-layup process of fiberglass molding. By 1976, Osborne Industries developed a closed molding process for manufacturing the heat mats which later became known as Resin Transfer Molding (RTM). As the company continued to expand its livestock product offerings, it soon realized that diversification of its business would ensure its survival during difficult economic times. Osborne Industries launched the development of a new low-cost plastic molding method called Reaction Injection Molding (RIM) in 1993 and began offering its custom molding services to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) across a wide array of industries.

Today, our diversity of products and services range from molded OEM industrial components to a full line of proprietary livestock management equipment available around the world. Our dedicated team of about 100 employee owners includes sales, engineering, and production personnel, among many others. Learn more about who we are and what we do here.
